About Dean Park
Dean Park is a neighbourhood located in North Saanich, British Columbia.
It is a suburb of the city of Victoria, which lies to the south. Downtown Victoria is located about 24 road kilometres away, around a 25 minute drive.
Dean Park is located at the very south end of the District of North Saanich and borders part of Central Saanich to the south. To the north, east and west, the community borders varying North Saanich neighbourhoods. East Saanich Road is a large artery that serves as its eastern border and works its way up towards the Town of Sidney. To the north, McTavish Road runs east-west and is the border between Dean Park and the Airport. Beyond this, the area mostly consists of small rural roads and quiet residential throughfares.
Approximately half of the neighbourhood is made up of forested land which is nestled against a single-family residential neighbourhood. To the west is where the Panorama Recreation Center is located which includes a pool, a weight room, indoor tennis courts and an NHL sized ice rink.

The John Dean Provincial Park is an excellent spot for hiking! In fact, there is a 4 km loop trail that is great for the whole family! With so much open space, the park is perfect for an adventure.
Dean Park is also near the beach which is just on the other side of the Patricia Bay Highway. Here you will find vast beachfront with amazing views of the small Gulf Islands just off the coast.
Considering Dean Park's central location, it is also right near a variety of amenities including to the south in Saanichton and to the northeast in Sidney.
