Cobble Hill is a neighbourhood located along the Malahat on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
It is situated up the Trans-Canada Highway from Greater Victoria, which lies to the southeast. Downtown Victoria is located about 49 road kilometres away, around a 45 minute drive.
Cobble Hill is a small farming village situated in the Cowichan Valley that is surrounded by a beautiful natural environment. This including a variety of freshwater lakes, forests and saltwater beaches on the Saanich Inlet. There are also a number of vineyards and wineries in the region.

Cobble Hill is a quiet community that is mostly made up of farmland and open space. The Cobble Hill real estate market features single family dwellings that are mostly located just off the Trans-Canada Highway and on neighbourhood roads. The center of the community is quite small and lacks a large retail center but has direct access to the Mill Bay Shopping Center just south down the highway.
At the east end, at the waterfront is the Arbutus Ridge Seaside Community which is situated on 148 acres of waterfront and is comprised of 640 homes. However, the neighbourhood has an age restriction only allowing residents of 50 years of age and older. The area is beautiful and features views of Salt Spring Island and Mount Baker while also having a common use village, gardens, oceanfront walking trails and a marina.

Despite being a small community, Cobble hill has tons to offer including an amazing climb of Cobble Hill Mountain in Quarry Regional Wilderness Park which offers breathtaking views. The Cherry Point Nature Observation Park is another great location and is ideal for the whole family with its long sandy shoreline.
There are also horseback riding tours in the area which lets you explore the beautiful countryside. Golfers will also love the 18 hole Arbutus Ridge Golf Club Championship Golf Course which is open almost all year round.
Wineries are also very common and popular in the area with a wine route beginning at Mill Bay at the Merridale Estate Cidery and traversing through Cowichan Bay and Cobble Hill at the Cherry Point Vineyards.
Nearby is also Shawnigan Lake which is beautiful especially in the summer and great for swimming and boating. Cowichan Bay is another great spot and is home to a rich history and a number of local shops and restaurants.
